Been Awhile!

Life has been pretty full lately. In November, I was doing NaNoWriMo and school. I’ve been working on The Joker Blogs site trying to make it the best it can be, juggling yet more school, work, clients, art…if I’ve been absent here, I certainly apologize, but definitely could not help it. At one point, this was the only site I was really working on, then…WHOOSH! I might take it slow for awhile, but yes, I’m still here! I may be showcasing more of my art here, both Joker related and not. And! This is still a place for fans to post their own creations and pictures.
Just wanting to pass along some status! Hope I haven’t lost you all yet!
People have been kinda forgetting the site for a bit. I think everyone just got busy…
I agree with Fishie. We need to spice this site up some…any ideas?
I know I sure got busy. I spent an entire DAY totally lost in a drawing yesterday…and it’s STILL not finished. I was having such a good time I didn’t even want to go to bed. TJB keeps me busy. When this next season gets going oh BOY! (They got over $30K, it’s unbelievable! So awesome!!) My friend Ryan needs some print/mail-out work done, several people on FB want pictures made. I’m also trying to buy a house. I need to work more on a HUGE series of novels that I have kickass ideas for. I still got school to work on, and hell yeah I play WoW! I’d rather do any/all of these fabulous things with my time than spend the 45+ hours a week at work. I really, really need to start playing the lotto. Really.
*hugs* We understand Kanike… Look, do you want someone to help mod/run the site? You could post an ad seeing if anyone would like to, though it may get the message around further if you email all the site members. That way it wouldn’t all be on just you.
I’m busy as well. Between precalculus, organic chemistry, and a job tutoring, my schedule’s so full that I’m almost afraid it’s going to put me in a mental hospital. XD At least I get paid though, so there is that. I think you’re just handling a LOT right now, and it might help if you stepped back from what projects you can and focused on the absolute necessary things.
Actually, almost ALL members here can post articles whenever they want, so in essence there’s a lot of people running the site, it’s not all on me. I don’t really need other mods or admins, WordPress makes that job pretty easy for now. On a strictly static site, that job is REALLY a pain because no one can post content but the webmaster. I need to get out and bring in more members…that’s the part that can be hard when you get busy.
